2016 Prizes

The 2016 Prizegiving was held at The Royal College of Physicians, 11 St. Andrews Place, Regent's Park, London NW1 4LE on 8 February 2016.

Mr Stuart Cowen, Chairman of the Trustees, introduced the event and welcomed Sir Mark Walport FRS FMedSci, Chief Scientific Adviser to HM Government, who presented the awards.  The 2016 awards were the twenty-fifth awards made by the Rank Prize Funds.

NUTRITION

For seminal contributions to mathematical modelling of childhood growth and its application in nutrition, epidemiology, medicine and public health.
